Spoilers

Ji Sung – The fire at the church

Ji sung chose the ending of episode 4 where the Catholic church burned into flames. More specifically, he recalled the moment when Kang Yo Han (Ji Sung) had to watch his brother Kang Isaac (GOT7’s Jinyoung) die as he got up to save his niece Elijah (Jeon Chae Eun).

The actor explained, “Not even Kang Yo Han’s parents, who abandoned him, shook up his life. But the moment he had to see and accept his brother’s death right in front of his eyes despite wanting to save him, the meaning of Kang Yo Han’s life was shaken.”

Kim Min Jung – “Hello, Master.”

Kim Min Jung described, “Every time Jung Sun Ah (Kim Min Jung) meets Kang Yo Han, she repeatedly says the line, ‘Hello, Master.’ By delivering this short line, the relationship between the two of them becomes more interesting and edgy.”

Jung Sun Ah first said this line at the end of episode 5, and through this, Kang Yo Han found out that Jung Sun Ah had been the young maid at the old mansion. She brought chills down viewers’ spines as she appeared in front of the kidnapped Kang Yo Han and revealed her identity.

Jinyoung – Kim Ga On’s warmth

Jinyoung shared that he liked the line, “Being lonely is not a sin,” that his character Kim Ga On said while Kang Yo Han and Elijah were fighting in episode 7. As Kang Yo Han and Elijah collide over every little thing, Kim Ga On embraces the family with his warm meals and sweet words. The mansion’s inhabitants are increasingly taking the form of a family thanks to Kim Ga On’s influence.

Jinyoung also said, “There’s a scene in episode 2 where Kang Yo Han, Oh Jin Joo (Kim Jae Kyung), and Kim Ga On eat at a restaurant, and I especially liked that part.”

Park Gyu Young – Yoon Soo Hyun’s relationship with Kim Ga On

Park Gyu Young selected her favorite line to be, “I’ve seen him cry five times already now.” Her character Yoon Soo Hyun said this to Elijah about Kim Ga On in episode 8. The actress commented, “I think it’s a line that helps you understand the long-lived relationship between Yoon Soo Hyun and Kim Ga On and the emotions and feelings she remembers and harbors about Kim Ga On.”

She also mentioned her line, “You heartless jerk, I love you,” that she throws at Kim Ga On in episode 1 as another one that portrays their relationship well.

“The Devil Judge” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. KST.
