Girls' Generation's Seohyun Confirmed To Join Na In Woo In Upcoming Fantasy Romance Drama

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will be joining Na In Woo in the upcoming drama “The Jinx’s Lover” (literal title)!

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “The Jinx’s Lover” is a fantasy romance drama that follows what happens when a poor, unlucky man meets the goddess of fortune that was hidden away by a chaebol family.

Seohyun will be playing Seul Bi, who has the special ability of seeing the future of the person she touches. Seven years ago, Seul Bi escaped the secret room she had been locked away in and met Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo), spending a dream-like day with him and beginning to dream about the world outside. Seohyun will portray with her own colors the pure and innocent Seul Bi, who uses her special ability to achieve her dream while not giving in to the harsh world.

Previously, Na In Woo had been confirmed to play the male lead Gong Soo Kwang, a man who sells fish at Seodong Market and has a special jinx. Once a man well on his way to success, he lost everything after meeting Seul Bi seven years ago and began a completely different life. Viewers are curious to see how Na In Woo will portray Gong Soo Kwang, a character whose forgotten abilities revive after his reunion with Seul Bi.

Seohyun has already impressed with her ability to analyze her character through her past dramas “Time” and “Personal Lives.” Na In Woo has also recently displayed his promising acting skills with “River Where the Moon Rises” and “Mr. Queen.” Already, viewers are highly anticipating the chemistry between the two stars.

The drama will be directed by Yoon Sang Ho of “River Where the Moon Rises” and written by Jang Yoon Mi of the films “Cheer Up, Mr. Lee,” “Luck-Key,” “Madonna,” and “Scarlet Innocence.”

“The Jinx’s Lover” has recently begun filming.
