Ji Chang Wook Fully Recovers From COVID-19 + To Resume Drama Filming

Ji Chang Wook has recovered from COVID-19!

On August 11, OSEN reported that Ji Chang Wook has completely recovered from COVID-19 and that he has resumed filming for the Netflix drama “The Sound of Magic.”

In response to the report, a source from his agency Glorious Entertainment commented, “Ji Chang Wook was judged to be fully recovered from COVID-19, and he has been discharged from the quarantine facility. He will return to [filming] ‘The Sound of Magic.'”

Previously on July 26, Ji Chang Wook was confirmed to be have been diagnosed with COVID-19. According to his agency, the actor had been taking preemptive measures by consistently receiving testing for COVID-19. After Ji Chang Wook tested positive, his drama temporarily halted filming, and his co-stars Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Yeop tested negative.

“The Sound of Magic” is described as a sentimental music drama about a girl named Yun Ai (Choi Sung Eun), who becomes an adult too quickly, and the mysterious magician Lee Eul (Ji Chang Wook), an adult who wishes to be a child forever.

Last year, Ji Chang Wook starred in SBS’s “Backstreet Rookie” and Kakao TV’s “Lovestruck in the City.” The actor is also in talks to star in the new drama titled “Tell Me Your Wish” (literal title).
