Mnet’s “M Countdown” will not be airing this week due to staff members testing positive for COVID-19.
Read the music program’s official statement below:
On August 16, two staff members of “M Countdown” tested positive for COVID-19.
Even before the epidemiological investigation, all the staff members underwent COVID-19 testing. Some of them tested negative for the virus, while others are still waiting for their results. In addition, we have notified the artists who appeared on “M Countdown” last Thursday and encouraged them to receive PCR tests.
For the safety of the crew and artists, this week’s “M Countdown” will be replaced by a special highlight episode.
We will actively cooperate with the epidemiological investigation of the quarantine authorities and do our best in safety management in the future.
