BTS’s “Permission To Dance” Maintains Top Spot; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2021, August Week 4

BTS’s “Permission to Dance” held on strong despite new competition to remain on top for the sixth consecutive week. Congratulations to BTS!

Debuting at No. 2 is Red Velvet’s “Queendom,” the title track from Red Velvet’s sixth mini album of the same name. “Queendom” is a refreshing pop dance song with lyrics expressing that we are all the “queens” of our lives and that we shine brighter when we come together.

Moving up two spots to round out the top three is Taeyeon’s “Weekend.”

There are no other new entries in the top 10 this week.
