3 Most Memorable Scenes From "Police University" So Far

KBS’s new drama “Police University” has already seen some interesting developments between the main characters!

“Police University” is a drama about the chaotic investigation that ensues when a professor at an elite police university teams up with a student who happens to be a genius hacker. B1A4’s Jinyoung and f(x)’s Krystal star as university students Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee, while Cha Tae Hyun stars as passionate detective-turned-professor Yoo Dong Man.

Below are three of the most unforgettable scenes from the first six episodes.

1. When Kang Sun Ho fell in love with Oh Kang Hee at first sight

Kang Sun Ho, a high school student who lacks any sort of goals or motivation, fell for Oh Kang Hee at first sight when he ran into her at the gymnasium in the first episode. The sight of her determined to not give up on the competition despite her injury sent his heart into a frenzy. Although he was at the gymnasium to hack into a billboard to help Yoon Seung Bum (Choi Woo Sung) with his confession, Kang Sun Ho seemed to have forgotten his duty as he could do nothing but stare at Oh Kang Hee.

Afterwards, the pair joined the Police University and completed their training, all the while testing the waters of their relationship. Viewers grew entranced watching the two youths striving for the same goal while working out the kinks of their romance.

2. When Yoo Dong Man and Kang Sun Ho teamed up

Kang Sun Ho first met Yoo Dong Man after being taken to the police station for hacking into an illegal gambling site in order to pay his father’s medical bills. After joining the Police University and running into Yoo Dong Man again, this time as student and professor, they regarded each other with bitterness until they found out that they had actually been online friends for a very long time.

In the fourth episode when Park Chul Jin (Song Jin Woo) became the target of a suspicious attack, Yoo Dong Man asked Kang Sun Ho to assist him in an investigation. Although he refused at first, Kang Sun Ho ran after Yoo Dong Man when he chased down Kwon Hyuk Pil (Lee Jong Hyuk), whose car was captured in a footage of the incident. Breathing hard from the chase, Kang Sun Ho said to him, “If I’m next to you, I think I can protect those who are hurt and catch the bad guys.” He then extended his hand to his professor, sparking the beginning of their teamwork and giving viewers a hint of the fiery chemistry to come as they carry out their investigation.

3. When Yoo Dong Man opened up to Kang Sun Ho

Yoo Dong Man and Kang Sun Ho possess personalities like water and oil, but they transformed into the perfect team after finding a happy medium. In episode 5, the pair found out that Kwon Hyuk Pil’s alibi carried no weight in regards to the case.

Having seen Kang Sun Ho face failure for the first time, Yoo Dong Man comforted him by saying, “When I rush forward without thinking, you need to step on the brakes. That’s why a police officer needs a partner and why two are better than one.” His sincere words proved the strength of their partnership and warmed the hearts of viewers.

“Police University” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
