Trot Singer Song Ga In Tests Positive For COVID-19

Trot singer Song Ga In has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

This is an announcement regarding Song Ga In’s COVID-19 diagnosis that was reported by the press today.

On August 28, Song Ga In felt unwell and visited a hospital, where she received an examination and was confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19.

As a result, on the afternoon of August 29, she was moved to a quarantine facility and is taking necessary measures based on the instructions from health authorities.

Please excuse us for causing concern to the fans. We will carefully follow the disease prevention guidelines and do our best for our artists’ health and safety.

Song Ga In was the final winner of TV Chosun’s popular trot audition program “Miss Trot” in 2019. She gained a wide following of fans through the show and has appeared on several trot-related variety shows. She is scheduled to appear as a judge on JTBC’s upcoming audition program about Korean traditional music, which is set to air next month.
