Set in a rural town in 1999, “Hometown” is a mystery thriller about a detective investigating a series of strange murders (played by Yoo Jae Myung) and a woman searching for her kidnapped niece (played by Han Ye Ri). He ominously remarks, “What I’m talking about is a very difficult experiment.” Towards the end of the clip, he hints, “The beginning of this story is me and you.” Jo Jung Hyun stares at something in utter shock, and her voiceover confesses, “This is what I forgot.”
