Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop And Kim Yoo Jung Share Ideas, Laughs, And Recipes While Filming Their Night Together In "Lovers Of The Red Sky"

A new “Lovers of the Red Sky” making-of clip goes behind the scenes of Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop’s heart-fluttering night together!

SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky” is a fantasy historical drama about the world of humans caught between demons, evil forces, and gods. Kim Yoo Jung stars as Hong Chun Gi, the Joseon Dynasty’s only female painter, and Ahn Hyo Seop stars as Ha Ram, a blind astrologer.

In the clip, Ahn Hyo Seop is dressed as the devil as he rehearses for his action scenes. After filming one on his own, he shyly comments, “It’s really embarrassing… but if you aren’t thick-skinned about it, it’ll never end. For everyone’s happiness.”

In another scene with Moon Sook and Jo Ye Rin, Kim Yoo Jung is seen in the background standing as still as a mannequin. However, the scene turns out to be longer than expected, showing Kim Yoo Jung’s incredible acting talent as the scene scrolls by in 15x speed, but with no movement from the actress.

Kim Yoo Jung then rehearses the scene where she nurses an unconscious Ahn Hyo Seop. As he sheds tears in his sleep from a nightmare, Kim Yoo Jung wipes them away, and a staff member jokingly comments, “Or you can put [the tears] back in too.”

After they accidentally spend the night together, Kim Yoo Jung wakes up in a fright with a loud shout. Ahn Hyo Seop comments with a laugh, “Your voice is really loud.”

Once they perfect the exact actions for the next scene, the two share recipes during their break. Ahn Hyo Seop excitedly remarks, “You put beef in the middle and bake it with bread on the outside, like a pie. It’s a taste I’ve never experienced before in my life. It’s crazy.” Kim Yoo Jung asks where they sell it and Ahn Hyo Seop answers, “I’m not sure, you have to make it. I wanted to share the taste.”

After the scene where Kim Yoo Jung introduces herself to Ahn Hyo Seop and he accidentally assumes her name is Hong Hong Hong, she helps him walk out, which is revealed to be an improvisation. He asks, “What was that Hong Hong Hong from earlier?” and Kim Yoo Jung ignores him and interjects, “Be careful!”
