Watch: Yoo Jae Myung And Han Ye Ri Fall Into A Living Nightmare When A Terrorist’s Daughter Goes Missing In “Hometown”
tvN’s “Hometown” has released a chilling preview of the first episode!
A mystery thriller drama set in a rural town in 1999, “Hometown” follows a detective named Choi Hyung In (Yoo Jae Myung), who is investigating a series of strange murders, and a woman named Jo Jung Hyun (Han Ye Ri), who is searching for her kidnapped niece. Entangled in their lives is the terrorist Jo Kyung Ho, Jo Jung Hyun’s brother, who is serving a life sentence in prison for a gas attack in 1987, in which Choi Hyung In lost his wife.
In the new preview, Jo Jung Hyun appears to wake up from a nightmare. Her niece has gone missing, and her fear is heightened by the fact that her brother seems to know everything about the situation, including her phone being abandoned in the rainy woods, despite being in jail. Yoo Jae Myung investigates the girl’s disappearance, but is soon sidetracked into a series of gruesome murders. Jo Jung Hyun faces prejudice in the town for being related to a terrorist and murderer, but she is determined to save her niece at all costs. However, it soon becomes apparent that there is a connection between the events of 1999 and the events of 1987.
“Hometown” premieres on September 22 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out the preview below!
