Namgoong Min Furtively Hides A Dead Agent’s Son As He Uncovers NIS Secrets In “The Veil”

MBC’s “The Veil” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its next episode!

“The Veil” is a new blockbuster action drama starring Namgoong Min as Han Ji Hyuk, an elite field agent whose perfect record and skill at completing missions make him a legend at the NIS (National Intelligence Service). However, just when he seemed to have finally succeeded in driving an organized crime syndicate into a corner, Han Ji Hyuk suddenly vanishes off the face of the earth following a horrific accident. After losing his memories and going missing for a year, he makes a bold return to the organization to find the traitor who attempted to kill his entire team.

Spoilers

Previously on “The Veil,” with internal conflicts and power battles within the NIS growing fiercer by the day, Han Ji Hyuk struggled to figure out who his allies and his enemies were without his memories to guide him.

In the drama’s upcoming fourth episode, Han Ji Hyuk will continue to surprise everyone with his unpredictable behavior as he is plunged back into the field by his superiors. Newly released stills from the episode capture Han Ji Hyuk furtively leading a teenage boy somewhere while attempting to keep him out of sight.

The identity of the teenage boy in question is Choi Sang Gyun (played by Ahn Ji Ho), the son of an NIS agent who died in the line of duty. The intense glint in Han Ji Hyuk’s eye as he guides Choi Sang Gyun out of view suggests the presence of danger, and the serious conversation that ensues raises the question of what the teenager might have to do with Han Ji Hyuk’s search for the truth behind the tragic incident from a year ago.

To find out how Choi Sang Gyun’s sudden appearance affects the agents at the NIS—and why Han Ji Hyuk secretively sneaks him away to hide him—tune in to the next episode of “The Veil” on September 25 at 10 p.m. KST!
