BTS's "Permission To Dance" Returns To No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, September Week 4
After two weeks at No. 2, BTS’s “Permission to Dance” recaptured the top spot this week. Overall, it is the song’s eighth week at No. 1. Congratulations to BTS!
Moving up four spots to No. 2 is STAYC’s “STEREOTYPE,” becoming the girl group’s highest charting song so far. Red Velvet’s “Queendom,” the previous No. 1 song, fell two spots to No. 3 this week.
Two songs newly entered the top 10 this week. Moving up seven spots to No. 7 is “LALISA” by BLACKPINK’s Lisa. Derived from Lisa’s real name, “LALISA” is her solo debut track that expresses the power of a name. It is a hip hop track with a bold brass riff and dynamic rhythm.
Debuting at No. 9 is NCT 127’s “Sticker,” the title song from their third studio album of the same name. It is a hip hop dance track with a powerful bass line and rhythmical vocals over a catchy flute source. The song is about always being together “like a sticker” with a romantic interest.
