CL Reveals How Her Ideal Type Has Changed Recently

CL dished on her evolving taste in men on SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”!

On the September 26 episode of the popular variety show, CL made a guest appearance as a special MC. Towards the beginning of the episode, host Shin Dong Yup asked the singer, “What’s your ideal type like? Does it keep changing, or…?”

After a moment of thought, CL replied, “Yes, it’s really changed a lot. I used to go for good-looking guys. But I’ve changed a lot. Now, what’s most important to me is finding someone who is compatible with me [in terms of personality] and who is healthy.”

Seo Jang Hoon jokingly asked, “So someone who’s compatible with you and healthy, but it’d be preferable if he were good-looking too, right? Then doesn’t that mean your ideal type hasn’t changed, and you’ve just added more requirements?”

CL responded, “But I think the type [of guy] I find handsome has changed as well. My taste [in men] is somewhat unusual. I used to like the pointy type.”

Shin Dong Yup excitedly wondered aloud, “The pointy type? Who would that be?” CL then praised his looks by saying, “You’re very handsome as well,” leading him to joke, “So you do have very unusual taste.”
