Kim Yoo Jung And Ahn Hyo Seop Protect Each Other In Different Ways In "Lovers Of The Red Sky"

SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky” released new stills of Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Yoo Jung!

Based on a novel, “Lovers of the Red Sky” is a historical fantasy romance drama starring Kim Yoo Jung as Hong Chun Gi, the Joseon Dynasty’s only female painter, who was born blind but miraculously regains her vision, and Ahn Hyo Seop as the blind astrologer Ha Ram, who is able to read the stars despite losing his sight.

In the last episode, Hong Chun Gi and Ha Ram kissed after realizing that they had shared memories together in a field of peach blossoms when they were young. However, after their kiss, Ha Ram pushed Hong Chun Gi away while stating, “You have to forget past relationships.” Ha Ram had been afraid that Hong Chun Gi would be put in danger because he has plotted to get revenge on the loyal family for a long time. In the end, Ha Ram couldn’t conceal his pained expression despite his cold words, and Hong Chun Gi couldn’t help but look back at Ha Ram with concern and yearning.

The new stills capture Ha Ram and Hong Chun Gi meeting amidst an awkward atmosphere. In the upcoming scene, they pretend not to know each other, highlighting their affectionate feelings for one another even more in the process.

Hong Chun Gi visits Ha Ram at his house, and she does her best to put on a bright smile for him although Ha Ram can’t see her. Ha Ram also appears surprised by Hong Chun Gi’s visit, but he still puts in effort to be considerate to her. Having placed distance between each other following their kiss, viewers are curious to see what conversation they’ll share in the upcoming episode.

The preview for episode 7 had shown Hong Chun Gi sharing, “If the boy I knew had grown up, he’ll probably have looked just like you. That boy doesn’t want me to recognize him. I’m going to protect him.” Viewers are curious to see if Hong Chun Gi’s sincerity will make Ha Ram’s heart waver, raising anticipation for their growing romance.

The next episode of “Lovers of the Red Sky” will air on September 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
