Watch: HYBE And Mnet Kick Off Audition Show "I-LAND 2" For New Girl Group

Mnet and HYBE’s joint audition program “I-LAND” is returning with a new season – this time for a new girl group!

“I-LAND” is an observation reality show that follows the creation process of next-generation K-pop artists. The first season aired via Mnet from June to September 2020 and brought forth the seven-member boy group ENHYPEN.

On September 27, “I-LAND 2” revealed its first teaser video and began recruiting contestants for the audition show. The new girl group created from “I-LAND 2” will debut under BELIFT LAB and become labelmates with ENHYPEN.

Any female born between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2009 is eligible to audition regardless of nationality. Applications will be accepted via BELIFT LAB’s official website from September 27 noon KST until October 10 midnight KST. Those who pass the first round can take part in the auditions that will begin in October and be held in seven total locations including Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, and the United States. The program is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.
