Lee Sun Bin, Han Sun Hwa, Jung Eun Ji, And Choi Siwon Bond Over Drinks And Work In Teasers For Upcoming Drama

TVING’s upcoming drama “City Girl Drinkers” (literal translation) shared some stills of its lead cast!

Based on a webtoon, “City Girl Drinkers” is about three women whose life beliefs revolve around having a drink after getting off work. Lee Sun Bin plays television scriptwriter Ahn So Hee, Han Sun Hwa plays yoga instructor Han Ji Yeon, and Apink’s Jung Eun Ji plays origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo. Super Junior’s Choi Siwon co-stars as Kang Book Goo, a variety show producing director (PD).

The new stills show the three women enjoying their favorite activity: having a drink together after work. Lee Sun Bin’s character, Ahn So Hee, is a veteran among variety show writers, and is a complete professional at work. When she gets drunk, however, she charges full steam ahead without stopping to think about what she’s doing.

Han Sun Hwa’s character, Han Ji Yeon, has a bright, quirky personality, and her smile as she lifts up a glass of soju shows her true love for drinking. She can be a bit tactless, but her intentions are as pure as a glass of white wine.

Jung Eun Ji’s character, Kang Ji Goo, spends most of her time alone in her room with her origami paper, meaning that drinks with friends are her only means to socialize with other people. She has a cynical personality and does not easily reveal her inner thoughts to other people.

Unlike the other characters, Choi Siwon’s character, Kang Book Goo, is still hard at work in the variety show staff room. His unkempt appearance shows his strong independent streak when it comes to his work. He has a unique sense of humor that is off-putting to everyone else and often bickers with Ahn So Hee, who is on the same production staff as he is.
