Kim Go Eun And Lee Sang Yi Share A Meaningful Look In Preview For His Cameo In "Yumi's Cells"

Lee Sang Yi is making a cameo appearance in “Yumi’s Cells”!

On October 8, TVING released stills of Lee Sang Yi and Kim Go Eun exchanging a meaningful look ahead of the upcoming episode.

In episodes 5-6, Yumi (Kim Go Eun) and Goo Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun) have been entertaining viewers with their depiction of a realistic romance, including showing the tragi-comic things that can happen between lovers. They fight over small misunderstandings, but they also find happiness in the everyday moments they spend together.

The new stills preview a wrench being thrown into the works with the appearance of a strange man, played by Lee Sang Yi. Yumi’s face is frozen as she watches him from a distance, and he also looks shocked and flustered. Who is the mysterious man appearing before Yumi in the middle of her happiness with Goo Woong? Viewers will also be interested to know where their meeting leads and how Yumi’s cells will react.

The teaser for the upcoming episode 7 shows Yumi struggling to prove the existence of her boyfriend to her friends. She also continues to feel bothered by the presence of Sae Yi (Park Ji Hyun), Goo Woong’s close female friend. The “reason” cell argues, “You shouldn’t feel bothered by her,” but the “love” cell retorts, “Three years ago, we believed the same thing and got hurt.”

The production staff of “Yumi’s Cells” stated, “Lee Sang Yi, who is making a cameo in the drama out of friendship for Kim Go Eun, will make his presence felt. Please look forward to the unexpected incident that will happen to Yumi.”

Lee Sang Yi and Kim Go Eun were in the same class at Korea National University of Arts, along with Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Sung Cheol, Lee Yoo Young, and Park So Dam.

Episode 7 of “Yumi’s Cells” will air on October 8 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
