aespa Achieves 4th Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Girl Group In Hanteo History Less Than A Year After Debut

Less than a year into their career, aespa is already recording impressive sales numbers!

Last week, aespa released their first mini album “Savage,” which marked the rookie girl group’s first-ever physical album since their debut in November 2020.

On October 12, Hanteo Chart announced that the album sold a total of 276,877 copies in the first week of its release (October 5 to 11)—an incredibly promising start for a girl group who has yet to celebrate their first anniversary.

With this achievement, aespa has become the girl group with the fourth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history—bested only by BLACKPINK, IZ*ONE, and TWICE.

“Savage” has also achieved the second-highest first-week sales of any girl group album released in 2021, following only TWICE’s “Taste of Love” thus far.

Congratulations to aespa!
