Lee Dong Hwi In Talks + Han Ji Eun Confirmed To Star In New Romance Film
Lee Dong Hwi and Han Ji Eun may be uniting in a new film!
On October 22, industry representatives reported that the two actors will be starring as the leads of the upcoming movie “Mora-dong” (romanized title).
In response to the reports, Han Ji Eun’s agency Secret Entertainment shared, “Han Ji Eun is confirmed to star in ‘Mora-dong,'” while Lee Dong Hwi’s agency KeyEast commented, “Lee Dong Hwi has received a casting offer for the film ‘Mora-dong’ and is positively reviewing [the offer].”
The upcoming film tells the realistic love stories of young adults with the setting of Mora, a neighborhood in Busan.
Lee Dong Hwi has been offered the role of Han Sun Woo, a part-time university lecturer who is working to become an architect. Han Ji Eun is set to play Min Woo Jung, a barista who dreams of starting her own cafe.
“Mora-dong” will begin filming soon with the aim to premiere next year.
