Kim Yoo Jung And Ahn Hyo Seop Share A Tender And Comforting Embrace In "Lovers Of The Red Sky"

Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop will promise their love in the upcoming episode of SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky”!

Based on the novel of the same name, “Lovers of the Red Sky” is a historical fantasy romance drama starring Kim Yoo Jung as the Joseon dynasty’s only female painter Hong Chun Gi, who was born blind but miraculously regains vision. Ahn Hyo Seop stars as blind astrologer Ha Ram, who is able to read the stars despite losing his sight.

The newly released stills feature Hong Chun Gi swept up in a wave of sadness as Ha Ram comforts her by her side. Hong Chun Gi is suffering because she believes that her father Hong Eun Oh’s (Choi Kwang Il’s) death is her fault. Previously, Hong Chun Gi had lost her father because of Prince Juhyang’s (Kwak Si Yang‘s) greed for Ma Wang. Furthermore, Ha Ram had to cope with the sacrifice of his bodyguard Moo Young (Song Won Seok) in the process, making viewers also experience the pain of loss.

The lovers comfort each other and share each other’s pain after having lost the people precious to them. In the newly released stills, Ha Ram hugs Hong Chun Gi by her shoulders while Hong Chung Gi leans in and puts down her worries for just a moment. Even amidst the storm that’s brewing, the two can rely on each other through the strength of love.

In another photo, Ha Ram tries to give back the jade ring to Hong Chun Gi again. Ha Ram holds Hong Chun Gi’s hand firmly as she gazes back with teary eyes. The couple promises their love in front of the Chotdaebawi Rock. Since it’s a location where wishes are made, viewers are curious to learn what vows they’ll exchange.

Despite the heartwarming moment, viewers still can’t relax as they follow the story. The strength of the Ma Wang is gradually growing within Ha Ram, and Hong Chun Gi has to paint a portrait of the king once more for Ha Ram. As the drama nears its end, viewers are curious to find out if Hong Chun Gi and Ha Ram will be able to protect their love.

The next episode of “Lovers of the Red Sky” will air on October 25 at 10 p.m. KST.
