Watch: Lee Do Hyun And Im Soo Jung Get Swept Up In Rumors In Intense "Melancholia" Teaser

The main teaser has been unveiled for “Melancholia”!

Set in a private school that is rife with corruption, the upcoming drama will tell the story of a passionate math teacher named Ji Yoon Soo (Im Soo Jung) and a math prodigy named Baek Seung Yoo (Lee Do Hyun) who fight to overcome social conventions and prejudices together.

The new teaser begins with Ah Sung High School’s new math teacher Ji Yoon Soo meeting Baek Seung Yoo, who is ranked last in the school. While the other students are focused on their studies, Seung Yoo appears far from interested.

However, Yoon Soo discovers something different in him and asks, “Do you like math?” She carefully approaches him, drawing out his hidden passion. She tells him, “I want to see more of your true self.”

However, the atmosphere takes a sharp turn as Seung Yoo’s mother Min Hee Seung (Baek Ji Won) appears and slaps the teacher’s face. They are framed in an instant as a voice asks, “Did you sleep together?”

Yoon Soo gets sent to the police, and Seung Yoo comes running as he yells, “Teacher!” and shows his determination as he says, “I’ll prove it. I will show proof.”

“Melancholia” premieres on November 3 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
