Ong Seong Wu Runs Into Numerous Obstacles On His 1st Day As A Barista In "Would You Like A Cup Of Coffee?"

Kakao TV has shared a glimpse of Ong Seong Wu’s transformation into a hardworking barista!

Based on a manhwa (Korean comic) by Heo Young Man, Kakao TV’s original drama “Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?” is about a young man named Kang Go Bi (Ong Seong Wu), whose passion for coffee leads him to become a rookie barista at a coffee shop owned by Park Seok (Park Ho San). This emotional human drama shows what Kang Go Bi learns about coffee and people through his work and tells the various stories of their neighborhood coffee shop customers.

The new photos from the drama’s upcoming second episode tease Kang Go Bi’s first day at work. As he receives his official training, his wide variety of facial expressions proves that his new job is no easy task. His dynamic reactions include an exhausted look, staring blankly in front of him, and yawning while working, but he also remains focused on the coffee.

Viewers can look forward to seeing what kind of difficult missions Kang Go Bi is given on his first day of work, such as having to man the store on his own, that lead to such amusing responses However, despite all these difficult situations, Kang Go Bi manages to serve customers calmly without getting flustered, showcasing his pure and passionate personality.

Another photo shows Kang Go Bi with his boss Park Seok, who seems to be tasting the espresso made by Kang Go Bi with a serious expression. Although it’s only his first day, Park Seok tells Kang Go Bi, “Recreate the taste of the espresso you just tried.” When he is unable to do so, Park Seok puts a sign up in front of the store that reads “Broken coffee machine.”

However, Kang Go Bi is not discouraged by this reaction, and he instead stays up all night to complete the mission. Although no one specifically told him to, Kang Go Bi wrestles with the espresso machine all night, proving his determination and passion for coffee.
