IU, SEVENTEEN, Lim Young Woong, And BTS Top Weekly Gaon Charts

Gaon has revealed its chart rankings for the week of October 17 to October 23.

Album Chart

SEVENTEEN topped this week’s album chart with their ninth mini album, “Attacca”! aespa’s “Savage” rose up the ranks to hit No. 2, while ENHYPEN’s “DIMENSION: DILEMMA” and ITZY’s “CRAZY IN LOVE” held over from last week to place No. 3 and No. 4 this week. BTS’s 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear” rounded out the top five at No. 5.

Lim Young Woong’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” OST “Love Always Run Away” held on to the No. 1 spot on the download chart for the second week in a row. All the other songs in the top five are new entries: IU’s “Strawberry Moon,” which recently became her third song to get a perfect all-kill in 2021, at No. 2; SEVENTEEN’s new title track “Rock with You” at No. 3; Davichi’s “First Loss” at No. 4; and UP10TION’s Lee Jin Hyuk’s “Work Work” at No. 5.

Digital Chart

IU’s “Strawberry Moon” debuted at the top of the digital chart for the week of October 17 to 23. The entry of “Strawberry Moon” pushed the other songs in the top five down one place compared to last week, with Lim Young Woong’s “Love Always Run Away” at No. 2, aespa’s “Savage” at No. 3, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” at No. 4, and Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” at No. 5.

Streaming Chart

Like the digital chart, IU’s “Strawberry Moon” topped the streaming chart for this week as well, pushing down the other songs one place compared to last week: “Savage” at No. 2, “Stay” at No. 3, “Traffic Light” at No. 4, and Coldplay and BTS’s “My Universe” at No. 5.

Social Chart

Gaon’s Social Chart 2.0 for the week of October 17 to 23 features the same artists as last week but one significant difference in ranking, as BLACKPINK’s Lisa overtakes her group BLACKPINK for the No. 2 spot on the chart. BTS remained at No. 1, while Lim Young Woong and aespa remained at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
