Kim Yo Han, Cho Yi Hyun, Chu Young Woo, And Hwang Bo Reum Byeol Aren't Your Typical Students In

KBS 2TV’s long-awaited drama “School 2021” has revealed its main poster!

The eighth installment in KBS’s popular “School” drama series, “School 2021” will tell the story of high school students choosing to follow their dreams instead of just preparing for college entrance exams. The coming-of-age tale will follow the growth, friendships, and romances of 18-year-olds facing an uncertain future.

WEi’s Kim Yo Han will star in the drama as Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who must give up on his dream due to an injury, while Cho Yi Hyun will play his first love Jin Ji Won, who is determined to achieve her dream of becoming a carpenter. Chu Young Woo will play Jung Young Joo, a mysterious transfer student with a past connection to Gong Ki Joon, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol will play Kang Seo Young, a high-achieving student who is on track to get into one of Korea’s top universities.

The newly released poster features the four main characters staring boldly into the camera as they declare in the caption that they’re no ordinary students—and that you don’t want to miss out on getting to know them. The poster’s caption confidently reads, “We’re too special for you to just pass by without getting to know us.”

The producers of “School 2021” commented, “Although [the drama] is set in a vocational high school, we plan to show that the characters’ individual concerns aren’t that different from those of ordinary 18-year-old students. With this relatability as a foundation, we also plan to bring viewers new and refreshing entertainment by depicting the unique struggles experienced only by vocational high school students, so please look forward to it.”

“School 2021” premieres on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
