aespa's "Savage" Maintains Top Spot; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, November Week 1
There was close competition for the No. 1 spot this week with the top three songs separated by only a few points!
aespa’s “Savage” held off two strong competitors to remain at No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week. Congratulations to aespa!
Moving up 11 spots to No. 2 is SEVENTEEN’s “Rock with you.” The title song from SEVENTEEN’s ninth mini album “Attacca,” “Rock with you” is a rock-based song with powerful synth and guitar sounds. The song expresses sincere feelings of love for someone and being able to do anything for that person.
Moving down one spot to No. 3 is IU’s “Strawberry Moon.”
Two more songs newly entered. the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 4 is NCT 127’s “Favorite (Vampire),” the title track from NCT 127’s new repackaged album. It is an R&B pop dance song with an addictive whistle sound and rich harmonies, and the lyrics tell an intense love story with a tragic end.
Moving up three spots to No. 9 is Lim Young Woong’s “Love Always Run Away,” the second single from the KBS drama “Young Lady and Gentleman.” The “Mr. Trot” winner takes on a remake of Lee Moon Se’s song from 2010 for his time participating in a drama OST.
