WEi's Kim Yo Han And Kim Kang Min Are Close Friends Despite Their Differences In "School 2021"

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “School 2021” revealed new stills of WEi’s Kim Yo Han and Kim Kang Min!

The eighth installment in KBS’s popular “School” drama series, “School 2021” will tell the story of high school students choosing to follow their dreams instead of just preparing for college entrance exams. The coming-of-age tale will follow the growth, friendships, and romances of 18-year-olds facing uncertain futures.

Kim Yo Han stars as Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who must give up on his dream due to an injury, and Kim Kang Min plays Ji Ho Sung, whose dreams are always changing but is sincere in pursuing whatever it is he’s focused on.

In the new stills, Gong Ki Joon and Ji Ho Sung share a conversation while sitting side-by-side. Gong Ki Joon looks off into the distance as if he’s lost in thought, while Ji Ho Sung hands him an ice cream bar with a bright smile on his face.

Gong Ki Joon, who lost his 11-year-long dream, and Ji Ho Sung, who has too many dreams, will portray a close chemistry that makes viewers smile. As the school’s mood setter, Ji Ho Sung is the complete opposite of Gong Ki Joon, but the two still have a refreshing friendship. Furthermore, Ji Ho Sung will play a large role in bringing Gong Ki Joon and Jin Ji Won (Cho Yi Hyun) closer together from their ambiguous relationship.

The production team shared, “Gong Ki Joon and Ji Ho Sung will make viewers empathize and feel nostalgic as they depict the various sides of high schoolers. Please watch out for the realistic story and growth process of students at a specialized high school that will be depicted by the two completely different people.”

“School 2021” premieres on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki with English subtitles.
