Watch: Yoo Ah In Is A Cult Leader Taking Advantage Of A World In Chaos In New Trailer For “Hellbound”
Yoo Ah In’s upcoming drama “Hellbound” has released a new trailer!
Helmed by “Train to Busan” director Yeon Sang Ho, “Hellbound” is a Netflix series set in a world where humans face a frightening supernatural phenomenon: emissaries from hell who appear on Earth without warning and condemn people to hell. Amidst the chaos caused by this terrifying new reality, an emerging religion led by Jung Jin Soo (played by Yoo Ah In) begins to gain popularity, while others desperately search for the truth behind this strange phenomenon.
In the second official trailer for the drama, people live in constant fear of being condemned—and later, dragged—to hell by one of these mysterious creatures. As they struggle to understand this new phenomenon, cult leader Jung Jin Soo draws people to his pseudo-religion by insisting that it is all God’s will.
When Detective Jin Kyung Hoon (played by Yang Ik Joon) attempts to investigate a death caused by the emissaries from hell, Jung Jin Soo condescendingly ridicules his efforts by smirking, “It’s funny that you’re even investigating this.”
As the world falls apart and people begin to violently turn on one another due to all the confusion and mayhem, Jung Jin Soo asks darkly, “Do you really think justice can be served through man-made law?”
“Hellbound” will premiere on November 19. In the meantime, check out the new trailer with English subtitles below!
