KBS’s “School 2021” shared a behind-the-scenes look at the chemistry of the young cast!

The latest installment in KBS’s hit “School” drama series, “School 2021” is about high school students who choose to follow their dreams instead of just preparing for college entrance exams. The coming-of-age tale follows the growth, friendships, and romances of 18-year-olds facing an uncertain future.

WEi’s Kim Yo Han stars as Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who gives up on his longtime dream due to an injury. While searching for a new dream, he crosses paths with Jin Ji Won (Cho Yi Hyun), who has wanted to be a carpenter since she was little, and Jung Young Joo (Chu Young Woo), with whom he clashes like oil and water.

On November 29, KBS shared behind-the-scenes stills of the young cast hanging out on set, rehearsing scenes, and more. Kim Yo Han occasionally flashed silly faces and poses at the camera, showing how he gets into character as an 18-year-old. Hwang Bo Reum Byeol made eye contact with the camera and shared her warm smile, in contrast to her studious and standoffish character. Cho Yi Hyun showed her professionalism as she studied a script, and Chu Young Woo also showed a new side of himself as he acuted cute for the camera.
