Update: NCT's Doyoung And JaeJae Join STAYC's Sieun As Hosts Of 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards After Eunhyuk's COVID-19 Diagnosis

The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards will now be hosted by STAYC’s Sieun, NCT’s Doyoung, and JaeJae.
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk had originally been scheduled to host alongside STAYC’s Sieun, but Eunhyuk was diagnosed with COVID-19 on January 20 and is unable to participate in the event.
On January 25, the Gaon Chart Music Awards confirmed that the ceremony would now have three MCs, with NCT’s Doyoung and JaeJae joining Sieun.
The Gaon Chart Music Awards also announced that due to concerns around environmental protection and the spread of COVID-19, environmentally friendly paper packs of water (instead of plastic bottles) and air sterilizers would be set up around the entire venue.
The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards will begin on January 27 at 5 p.m. KST. Check out the performer lineup here!

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and STAYC’s Sieun will be the MCs for the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards!
On November 30, a representative from the host company Korea Music Content Association stated, “Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and STAYC’s Sieun will be hosting the awards ceremony for the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards, which will be held next year on January 27 at 7 p.m. KST at the Jamsil Arena.”
They continued, “Please highly look forward to the combination of Eunhyuk, who has showcased his hosting skills on various variety programs, and Sieun, who has been receiving the spotlight as the next generation’s idol MC with her experience as a special MC on music shows.”
Eunhyuk debuted in 2005 as a member of Super Junior, and he has promoted actively through numerous variety programs including the upcoming season of “Idol Dictation Contest.” Sieun started out as a child actress, and she is now a rising idol star as a member of STAYC.
