Kim Da Mi, Choi Woo Shik, And More Get Tangled Up With Each Other In "Our Beloved Summer"

SBS has given a sneak peek at the second episode of “Our Beloved Summer”!

“Our Beloved Summer” is a romantic comedy about a couple that broke up on a bad note, but the documentary they filmed 10 years ago in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be in front of the camera together once more.

“Our Beloved Summer” premiered to a promising start with its refreshing and hilarious storyline. The first episode shared a glimpse of the two very opposite characters Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) and Gook Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi) who happened to fall in love.

The new stills show Choi Woong and Gook Yeon Soo’s awkward reunion. The two broke up ten years ago and are mature adults with their own careers now. Choi Woong and Gook Yeon Soo are at his house. They are sitting far away from each other, and they both look uncomfortable to be in each other’s presence. Choi Woong puts on an iron front with his icy expression, and his arms are locked in front of him as if he’s not willing to let her enter his heart once more. On the other hand, Gook Yeon Soo forces herself to smile at him, but it’s obvious she’s not enjoying this either.

More photos show Kim Ji Woong (Kim Sung Cheol) and NJ (Noh Jung Ui) visiting Choi Woong. Kim Ji Woong, who is Choi Woong’s best friend, was offered a chance to be a producer for their documentary. However, he refused because he knows the ex-couple better than anyone else. It will also be interesting to see the appearance of NJ, who is interested in Choi Woong. What will happen as these four characters become intertwined in each other’s lives?

The production staff stated, “The reunion of Choi Woong and Gook Yeon Soo, ex-lovers who somehow ended up joining hands for work, will be portrayed in an interesting manner. There will be a series of unpredictable events that are fun and exciting. In particular, Kim Ji Woong, Choi Woong’s best friend and documentary producer, will play a decisive role.” They added that Choi Woong and Kook Yeon Soo, who have no choice but to reunite, will get involved in romance once again that makes them recall the past.

Episode 2 of “Our Beloved Summer” will air on December 7 at 10 p.m. KST.
