Chu Young Woo Surprises Cho Yi Hyun With An Unexpected Proposition In "School 2021"

KBS 2TV’s “School 2021” has shared a sneak peek of an intriguing encounter between Cho Yi Hyun and Chu Young Woo!

“School 2021,” the long-awaited eighth installment in KBS’s popular “School” drama series, tells the story of high school students struggling with an uncertain future and choosing to follow their dreams instead of just preparing for college entrance exams.

WEi’s Kim Yo Han stars in the drama as Gong Ki Joon, a former Taekwondo athlete who was forced to give up on his dream, while Cho Yi Hyun plays his first love Jin Ji Won, who is determined to achieve her dream of becoming a carpenter. Chu Young Woo plays Jung Young Joo, a mysterious transfer student with a past connection to Gong Ki Joon, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol plays Kang Seo Young, a high-achieving student who is on track to get into one of Korea’s top universities.

On the previous episode of “School 2021,” both Jin Ji Won and Jung Young Joo participated in Jinsung University’s first-ever woodworking competition. However, due to school director Goo Mi Hee (Lee Ji Ha) pulling some strings, twins Lee Jae Hee (Yoon Yi Re) and Lee Jae Hyuk (Lee Sang Joon) wound up splitting the gold prize, while Jung Young Joo and Kang Seo Young had to swallow their anger after being unfairly stuck with bronze.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Jung Young Joo approaches Jin Ji Won after their woodworking club is dissolved following the end of the competition. After explaining what took place at the competition, Jung Young Joo makes a surprising proposition that causes Jin Ji Won’s jaw to drop. However, despite being visibly surprised by what he suggests, Jin Ji Won immediately agrees to his proposal without hesitation.

The producers of “School 2021” teased, “Because of Jung Young Joo, the woodworking club that was created for the woodworking competition is revived and comes back to life. Together with new club members, these young people will chase their dreams once more. Please look forward to their story.”
