ASTRO's Rocky To Not Participate In 2021 KBS Song Festival Due To Injury

ASTRO’s Rocky is being treated for an injury.

On December 16, Fantagio stated that Rocky would be sitting out of ASTRO’s upcoming performance at the 2021 KBS Song Festival due to an injury.

Their statement reads:

Hello, this is Fantagio.

This is our statement regarding scheduling changes after ASTRO’s Rocky sustained injuries to his knee and face.

Last night (Wednesday, December 15), Rocky was practicing when he suffered an abrasion near his left eye and a bruised knee. We took him immediately to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment from a doctor.

He was not diagnosed with a major injury, but the doctor judged that it would be difficult for him to continue with his schedule at the moment. Therefore, ASTRO will perform without Rocky as five members at the 2021 KBS Song Festival on December 17.

We apologize for causing concern with this sudden news. We will continue to do our best for our artists’ health and we will work hard for his speedy recovery.

The 2021 KBS Song Festival is scheduled for December 17 at 8:30 p.m. KST, with ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, AOA’s Seolhyun, and SF9’s Rowoon as MCs.
