Ahn Eun Jin, Red Velvet's Joy, And Kang Ye Won Go On An Extraordinary Outing In "The One And Only"

JTBC’s “The One and Only” has released new stills featuring Ahn Eun Jin, Red Velvet’s Joy, and Kang Ye Won!

“The One and Only” is an emotional romance drama about three terminally ill women who meet at a hospice. They decide that before they die, they want to take down one bad guy before they go – but in their attempt to take down just one person, they end up meeting the most valuable person of their lives. Ahn Eun Jin stars as Pyo In Sook, a woman recently diagnosed with a terminal illness, who joins Sung Mi Do (Joy) and Kang Se Yeon (Kang Ye Won) on a journey of realizing the meaning of life.

The first episode depicted the unforgettable way Pyo In Sook, Sung Mi Do, and Kang Se Yeon got entangled with each other. It all started with a young child named Ha San Ah (Seo Yeon Woo) who lives next door to Pyo In Sook. Her father is abusive and violent, and Pyo In Sook’s grandmother Yook Sung Ja (Go Doo Shim) had been assaulted by him before. Kang Se Yeon calmly said, “If you can save someone by killing them, wouldn’t you make that choice? We’re going to die anyway, so why don’t we just take one person?” On a rainy night, the three woman went after the child’s father, but they came across an unexpected witness: Min Woo Chun (Kim Kyung Nam).

In the new stills, Pyo In Sook, Sung Mi Do, and Kang Se Yeon are no longer wearing their gloomy black raincoats. For some reason, they’re at a club in dazzling dresses. Unlike Sung Mi Do, Pyo In Sook and Kang Se Yeon look out of place. The unexpected setting hints that these three are up to something.

The drama’s producers commented, “Pyo In Sook, Sung Mi Do, and Kang Se Yeon, who took down ‘one bad guy,’ will visit the club tonight.” They shared that the second episode will bring interesting developments as another unpredictable event occurs in their lives.

Episode 2 of “The One and Only” will air on December 21 at 11 p.m. KST.
