“Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” is a historical comedy drama starring 2PM’s Taecyeon as Ra Yi Eon, a young gourmand who is appointed a secret royal inspector (a government official who travels undercover to local provinces to inspect them and uncover corruption) against his will. Kim Hye Yoon stars as Kim Jo Yi, a divorced woman searching for happiness who winds up joining forces with him to investigate and battle corruption.

Previously on “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy,” Ra Yi Eon became strengthened through Kim Jo Yi’s consolation. The two shared an affectionate and heart-warming kiss that confirmed they were in love with each other. Park Seung (Jung Bo Suk), made a triumphant return as a judge after striking a deal with the king, attempted to take down Ra Yi Eon, but Ra Yi Eon came up with a counterattack that increased excitement for an interesting fight between the two characters.

The newly released stills hint unexpected situations are in store for Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi, First off, Ra Yi Eon comes face to face with Park Tae Seo (Lee Jae Gyun), who fled from prison. Park Tae Seo is no longer pulsating with a dark, menacing aura, and instead, he is shedding distraught tears. Ra Yi Eon can’t hide his complex feelings, and his trembling eyes raises questions about their conversation.

More stills show Kim Jo Yi with her childhood friend Choi Seung Yool (Cha Hak Yeon). He’s kneeling in front of her as he hands her a hairpin that hints he no longer wants to be just her friend. Kim Jo Yi had no idea Choi Seung Yool had romantic feelings for her, so viewers are eager to find out how she will respond to his sudden proposal.
