Watch: 2PM's Taecyeon Jokes About "Crying" After Every Kiss Scene With Kim Hye Yoon In "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy"

“Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” has released the behind-the-scenes clip for Kim Hye Yoon and 2PM’s Taecyeon’s kiss scene!

tvN’s “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” is a historical comedy drama starring Taecyeon as Ra Yi Eon, a young gourmand who is appointed a secret royal inspector against his will. Kim Hye Yoon stars as Kim Jo Yi, a divorced woman searching for happiness who winds up joining forces with him to investigate and battle corruption.

At the start of the video, Kim Hye Yoon jokingly announces, “I don’t know how he feels, but I’m just here to play hide and seek. Innocently.” The clip then jumps to her practicing her kiss with Taecyeon as he politely asks, “Which side do you like better?”

They begin to film their dramatic kiss scene when Taecyeon suddenly starts to apologize. He explains, “My nose keeps running onto Jo Yi’s face.” Kim Hye Yoon wipes her face and jokes, “Oppa keeps crying…” Taecyeon adds, “I cry every time we kiss. I can’t be like this,” referring to the last time he teared up after a kiss scene.

The duo also show off how much fun they have on set even while filming as they throw rocks, chase each other’s shadows, and toss shoes while thinking of their own game rules. Afterwards, Taecyeon shows off his artistic talent as he decorates his script, drawing his character on the spot and adding incredible detail.

Kim Hye Yoon and Cha Hak Yeon (VIXX‘s N) then get together to film his character Seung Yool’s confession scene. After the take, Kim Hye Yoon is asked to send him a message, so she comments, “Seung Yool, you’re leaving now. Have a good business trip. Since we’re childhood friends, we’ll meet up often, right? Keep in touch, and be well.” She then switches gears and adds with a laugh, “Actor Hak Yeon, hello.” When asked to send a message to Jo Yi, Cha Hak Yeon casually comments, “Jo Yi, you left so coolly. Goodbye.”

Later, Taecyeon films the scene where he finds Park Tae Seo, who is played by Lee Jae Gyun. They rehearse the action scene as the duo popcorn fun ideas. While practicing a specific tumbling scene, Taecyeon asks, “You can do it, right? I did this a lot when I was a trainee.”

Late at night, Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon are together in Ra Yi Eon’s room. They rehearse the scene where Yook Chil (Min Jin Woong) and Goo Pal (Park Kang Seob) knock at the door, then hilariously fluster the couple when they open the door before they have time to hide.

As Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon try to hide under the covers, Taecyeon comments that he thought Yook Chil and Goo Pal already knew about the couple’s circumstances and that they’d be fools if they really didn’t know. Min Jin Woong jokingly responds, “We’ve been fools this whole time. It honestly doesn’t matter.”
