Kang Hye Won's Agency Shares Update On Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

Kang Hye Won’s agency 8D Entertainment has announced that it has taken legal action against malicious commenters.

Earlier this year, 8D Entertainment issued a statement announcing its plans to take legal action to protect the former IZ*ONE member against malicious comments and defamation of character.

On December 31, 8D Entertainment released the following update on its legal response:

Hello, this is 8D Entertainment.

We previously issued a strong warning to malicious commenters and those who repeatedly write or spread malicious comments or posts about Kang Hye Won that include defamation of character, insults, sexual harassment, falsehoods, or malicious libel.

Based on our own monitoring and the evidence that we have received through reports, we completed our first round of gathering evidence. Through the law firm IL, we filed a criminal complaint with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station last November, and investigations are currently ongoing.

We plan to continue to regularly take legal action after obtaining evidence through continuous monitoring, and we will be even firmer in our response, with no leniency or negotiation.

Finally, we would like to thank all the fans who always give Kang Hye Won their love and support.

We will continue to do our utmost to protect the rights of our artist.
