IMFACT’s Sang, Jeup, And Ungjae Announce Their Contracts With Star Empire Have Ended

Three IMFACT members have announced they will be parting ways with Star Empire Entertainment.

On January 3, Jeup, Sang, and Ungjae posted on Instagram about their departures from the agency.

Sang wrote:

Hello, all our fans, this is Lee Sang. On January 3, 2022, my exclusive contract with Star Empire ended.

After debuting in the group IMFACT, I was happy to receive love from so many fans. I will continue to care for and cherish the name of ‘IMFACT’ in future. Through the agency Star Empire, I went through many things and was able to grow. In future, I’m going to live my own life bravely and well. I ask you to cheer not for just me but the other members as well.

Finally, thank you to CEO Shin Joo Hak and our other family at Star Empire for everything until now.

Jeup wrote:

Hello, all our fans. This is IMFACT’s Jeup. First, I apologize for delivering this news so suddenly. On January 3, 2022, my exclusive contract with Star Empire ended.

Thank you to the staff members who worked hard on our behalf until now, and thank you to CEO Shin Joo Hak, who more than anyone else did his best to help us. I cannot say for certain what I will do in the future yet.

Thank you for taking interest in, loving, and supporting IMFACT’s Jeup at Star Empire until now.

Ungjae wrote in English and Korean:

Hello, I’m Na Ung Jae. As of January 3, 2022, the contract with Star Empire has ended.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all staff members of the company and CEO Shin Joo Hak, who have cared for me since I was the young age of 16. And please continue to support and pay attention to the activities of not only me but all the five members.

It’s very cold. Everyone, be careful not to catch a cold. I will cheer for you to be full of good things in 2022. Thank you always and I love you.

It is expected that all the members of IMFACT had their original contracts with Star Empire expire on January 3, 2022, but as of yet, Taeho and Jian have not posted updates about their contract status. Currently, Jeup, Jian, and Taeho are enlisted in the military.

IMFACT is a five-member boy group who debuted in January 2016. They have released songs like “Lollipop,” “Feel So Good,” “Tension Up,” “The Light,” “Nanana,” “Only U,” and “Lie.”
