Choi Woo Shik will go to Kim Da Mi’s house in the upcoming episode of “Our Beloved Summer”!
The SBS drama is about ex-couple Choi Woong (Choi Woo Shik) and Guk Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi), whose relationship did not end on good terms. Years later, the documentary they filmed in high school suddenly gains popularity, and they’re forced to be together in front of the camera once more.
Spoilers
Previously on “Our Beloved Summer,” Choi Woong and Guk Yeon Soo returned from their trip with more complex feelings. Perhaps it was because of the rain that day, but Choi Woong caught a severe cold. Guk Yeon Soo, who had no idea he was sick, was disappointed that he never contacted her. She went to his house in a drunken state, but she was bewildered when he suggested they be friends. As a result, she spent the night at his house, and Kim Ji Woong (Kim Sung Cheol) witnessed them together when he came to Choi Woong’s house the next day.
Newly released stills depict Choi Woong visiting Guk Yeon Soo’s house this time. The two are having dinner with her grandmother Kang Ja Kyung (Cha Mi Kyung), who is her only family member. They are enveloped in odd silence, and there is a layer of tension in the air. Kang Ja Kyung isn’t too pleased to see the boy who appeared out of nowhere five years after the breakup with her granddaughter. Choi Woong is flustered by her chilly response to his presence, and he’s sitting on pins and needles, as if he has committed a grave crime. How did Choi Woong end up at Guk Yeon Soo’s house just shortly after declaring they should be just friends?
The drama’s production team stated, “Finally, Kook Yeon Soo has become aware of her feelings for Choi Woong. There will be a heartbreaking unrequited love that is different from Kim Ji Woong’s and NJ’s (Noh Jung Ui), so please focus on her emotions.”
The next episode of “Our Beloved Summer” will air on January 4 at 10 p.m. KST.
