Watch: Kim Tae Ri And Nam Joo Hyuk Reminisce About A Special Summer In "Twenty Five, Twenty One" Teaser

tvN’s upcoming drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One” released an exciting new teaser!

Set in 1998, “Twenty Five, Twenty One” is about youth who find new direction and growth after having their dreams taken away. Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk star as Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin, who first meet when they are 18 and 22 years old and fall in love years later when they turn 21 and 25.

Na Hee Do is a fencing athlete whose high school team was disbanded due to the IMF crisis. Although her dreams appeared to have collapsed in front of her, she forges ahead into her future without giving up. Baek Yi Jin is the eldest son of a family that is torn apart due to the IMF crisis. Despite his difficult background, he works hard to become a reporter.

The new teaser begins with white chrysanthemum flowers fluttering in the wind. Na Hee Do smiles brightly at the sky and walks with a refreshing spring in her step. She narrates, “Whether it was because I ran or because I was excited, I was curiously out of breath. The wind blew, and the green leaves rubbed against each other. It was the middle of summer.”

In the next scene, Baek Yi Jin appears to be enjoying the dazzling sun and crashing waves at a beautiful beach. He sets up a camera and mic and connects his earphones to listen even more closely to the sounds surrounding him. He shares, “The summer that felt like it would last forever. Us, who were passionate while meeting in the heat of youth. That summer was ours.” Baek Yi Jin closes his eyes and takes in the moment before running toward the sea.

The production team shared that they captured the refreshing and pure chemistry of Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin in the new teaser. They added, “Please anticipate ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One,’ which will heal viewers in a new way through heartwarming comfort from refreshing memories of youth during their difficult everyday lives.”

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” will premiere on February 12 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Watch the full teaser below!
