Jo Se Ho Tests Positive For COVID-19

Jo Se Ho has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On January 28, his agency Image 9 Communications released the following statement:

Hello, this is Jo Se Ho’s agency Image 9 Communications.

Yesterday (January 27), Jo Se Ho visited the hospital and underwent a preemptive PCR test after coming in close contact with a COVID-19 patient, and his test results came back positive this afternoon.

Jo Se Ho [has completed vaccination and] even received his booster shot last December, and he is currently exhibiting mild symptoms. Following the positive test results, we plan to take additional measures immediately in accordance with the directions of the disease control authorities.

His scheduled activities will be suspended until he is completely cured. We asked authorities for their understanding and informed them of his absence in the recording for “Rice Comes at the End of Hardship” (literal title) scheduled for tomorrow (January 29), the filming of an advertisement scheduled for the weekend, and the recording of “You Quiz on the Block” scheduled for next week.

Also, just in case, we are conducting tests on our staff and authorities who have been in contact with Jo Se Ho and checking [their health].

Our company will prioritize Jo Se Ho’s health and do our best to help him recover quickly and return to a healthy state as soon as possible. In addition, we will diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the disease control authorities.
