Watch: Red Velvet’s Joy Gets Playful + Ahn Eun Jin And Kim Kyung Nam Have A “Rap Battle” In Rehearsals For “The One And Only”

A new making-of video has been released for “The One and Only”!

JTBC’s “The One and Only” is a unique romance drama starring Ahn Eun JinRed Velvet’s Joy, and Kang Ye Won as three terminally ill women who meet at a hospice. They decide that before they die, they want to take down one bad guy before they go—and in their attempt to do so, Pyo In Sook (Ahn Eun Jin) winds up meeting Min Woo Chun (Kim Kyung Nam), “the one and only” most valuable person of her life.

At the beginning of the video, the cast is gathered to film the hospice’s goodbye party for Choi Sung Hae (Lee Hang Na). Joy spots the behind-the-scenes camera and waves to it, leading Kang Ye Won to confusedly ask, “Is the next scene here?” Joy explains that it’s the making-of camera, and Kang Ye Won adds, “We’re filming diligently!”

Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Kyung Nam later film a scene in the storage space of the hospice. As the two start rehearsing, they jump into an impromptu “rap battle” because both their lines are so long and repetitive. A staff member comments on how Ahn Eun Jin’s “rap” is more 90s-style and Kim Kyung Nam responds, “No, they’re both 90s rap. But Woo Chun is like Deux, and In Sook is like g.o.d,” making everyone laugh with his interpretation. Ahn Eun Jin adds, “[Woo Chun is] crying out at the world, I’m just doing it alone.”
