CIX's Bae Jin Young Diagnosed With COVID-19

CIX’s Bae Jin Young has tested positive for COVID-19.

On February 4, C9 Entertainment issued a statement saying that the day before, Bae Jin Young had returned from the Lunar New Year holidays and shown symptoms of coughing. He tested himself with a self-testing kit and went to get a PCR test and the results of both were positive. Bae Jin Young has completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The other CIX members did not cross paths with Bae Jin Young after his return, but they were all tested with self-testing kits once they had come back from their break and tested negative. Bae Jin Young is currently in a separate quarantine facility and the other members will be self-quarantining at their dormitory.

C9 Entertainment clarified that their other artists had not crossed paths with CIX at all.
