Nam Joo Hyuk Raises Anticipation For “Twenty Five, Twenty One” With His Transformation Into A Young Man Who Experiences First Love
tvN’s new weekend drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One” shared new stills of Nam Joo Hyuk in character!
Set in 1998, “Twenty Five, Twenty One” is a story about young people named Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri), who first meet when they are 22 and 18 years old and fall in love when they meet again at age 25 and 21.
Baek Yi Jin is the eldest son of a family that is torn apart due to the IMF crisis. Despite his difficult background, he works hard to become a reporter. Through delicate emotional acting, Nam Joo Hyuk will depict Baek Yi Jin’s struggles to achieve his dreams due to his harsh reality as well as his heart-fluttering love story with Na Hee Do.
In the newly released photos, Nam Joo Hyuk has completely transformed into Baek Yi Jin. Baek Yi Jin attracts attention with his refreshing and youthful appearance that recalls the memory of first love. He exudes warmth with his calm expression, but his eyes are filled with firmness that show his mature attitude as he overcomes unstable situations.
Not only will Nam Joo Hyuk show chemistry with Kim Tae Ri as they portray an unforgettable romance between two people who experience all kinds of hardships, but he will also showcase various kinds of teamwork with WJSN‘s Bona, Choi Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Myung. Expectations are high for what kind of empathetic stories these young characters will tell as they learn and grow together.
