Kim Joon Ho Halts All Activities After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Kim Joon Ho has temporarily halted all activities after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

On February 11, JDB Entertainment announced that the star had tested positive for COVID-19 the day prior and was currently in self-isolation.

Although Kim Joon Ho is currently appearing on multiple variety shows, he has not recently been participating in any shoots due to coverage of the ongoing 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, so the broadcast schedules of his programs are reportedly unlikely to be affected.

JDB Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:

Hello. This is Kim Joon Ho’s agency, JDB Entertainment.

First, we would like to apologize for giving many people cause for concern.

Because someone around Kim Joon Ho was diagnosed with COVID-19, Kim Joon Ho has been consistently using rapid antigen tests, and his results were all negative. However, in order to be sure, he paid out of pocket for a PCR test on February 9, and on February 10 (yesterday), his test results came back positive.

Kim Joon Ho has always tested himself using a rapid antigen test before filming when participating in a shoot, and he previously received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. At the moment, he has halted all scheduled activities and is currently in self-isolation.

Although he is not currently exhibiting any particular symptoms, he will adhere to the guidelines of government health authorities, and we will continue to monitor his health.
