Jung Hyung Don's Mother Passes Away
Jung Hyung Don’s mother has passed away.
On February 14, Jung Hyung Don’s agency MCP Entertainment revealed that his mother had passed away at the age of 76 (by Korean reckoning) after battling a stroke. Her wake has been set up at the Yeungnam University Medical Center Funeral Home.
Last April, Jung Hyung Don appeared on the Channel A variety show “My Golden Child” where he spoke about his mother. He shared, “It’s been four years since my mother fainted due to a stroke. She’s in a state where she does not recognize her children. She can’t speak and can only blink. I haven’t canceled my mom’s phone number yet. The moment I canceled it, I thought it would feel like admitting that I won’t ever be able to hear my mom’s voice again. I’m not canceling it with hopes that I’ll eventually be able to call my mom again.”
In addition to “My Golden Child,” Jung Hyung Don is currently active on various variety programs. Following the funeral proceedings, Jung Hyung Don plans on attending his regular filming activities as scheduled.
