Son Ye Jin And Yeon Woo Jin Share A Fateful First Encounter At The Orphanage In

JTBC’s new drama “Thirty-Nine” released new stills ahead of its premiere!

“Thirty-Nine” will star Son Ye JinJeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun as three friends who met in their second year of high school and are now on the verge of turning 40. The series will follow the three 39-year-old women as they encounter unforeseen circumstances in their lives.

Son Ye Jin plays Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam, Jeon Mi Do plays Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher who previously dreamed of becoming an actress, and Kim Ji Hyun plays Jang Joo Hee, the manager of a department cosmetics store.

New stills capture the warm scene where Cha Mi Jo, Jung Chan Young, and Jang Joo Hee are at the orphanage. Cha Mi Jo, who used to live at the orphanage before being adopted by her current family, still visits this place to have a pleasant time with the children who live there.

Some of the photos show the trio spending time outdoors in the natural scenery. Jung Chan Young and Jang Joo Hee prepare food while Cha Mi Jo has fun with the kids. Cha Mi Jo looks especially happy without an ounce of stress or concern on her face. Jung Chan Young and Jang Joo Hee also exude warmth with their tender smiles.

More photos show the orphanage has another visitor. It’s none other than 39-year-old Kim Sun Woo (Yeon Woo Jin). The trio can’t help but notice him because of his warm appearance and friendly smile. In particular, Cha Mi Jo pauses what she’s doing to look at him. Although she’s curious about the newcomer, she’s also slightly tense and wary. Viewers are already excited to find out how Kim Sun Woo and Cha Mi Jo’s romance will play out.

“Thirty-Nine” will premiere on February 16 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
