Watch: Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, WJSN's Bona, And More Overcome Nerves During 1st Filming For

tvN has released an exciting making-of video from the first filming of “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” is set in 1998 and tells the story of Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri), who first meet when they are 22 and 18 years old and fall in love when they meet again at age 25 and 21.

WJSN’s Bona plays national fencing athlete Go Yu Rim, who is Na Hee Do’s rival. Choi Hyun Wook plays influencer Moon Ji Woong, while Lee Joo Myung plays the rebellious class president Ji Seung Wan.

At the beginning of the clip, Kim Tae Ri is asked how the beginning of filming went. She cheerfully responds, “We did it very happily.” She then turns around to introduce her house and adds, “Although it’s my first time here, it feels incredibly familiar. I already feel like I’ve become very close with my character, so I’m really glad. I hope we’re able to excitedly and enjoyably finish filming without anyone getting hurt.” Nam Joo Hyuk shares, “Today was our first filming, and I was honestly really nervous. [However,] I think I’ll be able to have fun filming in the future.”

The next part features Kim Tae Ri’s dedication as she attempts various difficult maneuvers, such as catching a flying newspaper and stabbing an apple in the air with her fencing sword. Later, Bona joins her as they start practicing their fencing skills. As they watch their teachers, Bona whispers to Kim Tae Ri, “It’s not easy…” Kim Tae Ri reassures her, saying, “It’s okay, it’s okay. You can do it too.”

After filming, Bona shares, “At first, I was really worried and nervous, but this atmosphere is so great that I’m now adjusting comfortably and diligently. As long as Hee Do is on set, my heart feels at ease. Tae Ri unnie gives me lots of advice, saying, ‘Wouldn’t this be good? Wouldn’t that be good?’ and she takes care of me well, so I’m filming comfortably.” With a big smile, she adds, “We’re having a lot of fun filming.”

Back at the school, Kim Tae Ri rehearses a scene with Choi Hyun Wook. They’re joined by Lee Joo Myung, who worriedly asks whether her hair looks like a wig. They assure her that it doesn’t, with Choi Hyun Wook commenting, “But it’s not a wig,” and Lee Joo Myung hilariously throws them off guard by nonchalantly joking, “It’s a wig.”

Choi Hyun Wook comments, “Whenever I come here, I have fun working, so I think I’ve been able to grow a lot closer with all my seniors on set. I’ve learned a lot, so I think I’m always gaining a lot when I’m here.” Lee Joo Myung shares, “For starters, since the five of us are all around the same age, the atmosphere on set is great, and you can look forward to our chemistry. Please look forward to it lots!”
