IZ*ONE's Kim Min Ju Diagnosed With COVID-19

Former IZ*ONE member Kim Min Ju has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On February 21, her agency, Urban Works, released the following statement.

Hello, this is Urban Works.

Kim Min Ju has tested positive for COVID-19.

Last weekend, Kim Min Ju felt slight symptoms of a cold, so she tested herself with a self-testing kit and got a positive result. Afterward, she got a PCR test and confirmed she had tested positive.

Kim Min Ju has put a halt to all her work activities and will be following the necessary requirements of the disease control authorities. She is currently in self-quarantine at her home and receiving treatment and rest.

With the artist’s health and safety as its top priority, the agency will do its best to support her so that she can recover quickly. We will also faithfully cooperate with the directions of the public health authorities.

Thank you.

Kim Min Ju is currently a host on MBC’s music show “Music Core.” On February 21, “Music Core” stated, “We have confirmed Kim Min Ju will not be attending this week’s broadcast and we are currently in discussions about our next steps.”

Get well soon!
