Update: WJSN's Luda Tests Positive For COVID-19

WJSN’s Luda is the latest member to be diagnosed with COVID-19.

On March 12, Starship Entertainment stated on WJSN’s official fan café, “On March 11, Luda tested herself with a self-testing kit out of precaution and it showed a positive result. She immediately went to the hospital and got a PCR test, which confirmed she was positive on March 12.”

According to the agency, Luda has completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and has no significant symptoms apart from a slight sore throat and a mild fever. She has canceled her planned schedule and will receive treatment according to the directions from the disease control authorities.

Recently, Eunseo, Exy, Seola, and Yeonjung had been released from isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 in late February and early March.

WJSN’s Seola and Yeonjung have also tested positive for COVID-19.

On March 4, Starship Entertainment stated on the group’s fan café:

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

Today (March 4), WJSN members Seola and Yeonjung have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On March 3, Seola and Yeonjung underwent precautionary testing for COVID-19 with a self-testing kit. When the results came back positive, they immediately went to the hospital and got a PCR test. Their results came back positive on March 4.

Seola has completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while Yeonjung has completed three. Both of them have no symptoms apart from a slightly sore throat, and are being treated at home as directed by the disease control authorities.

Apart from Seola and Yeonjung, the other WJSN members and their staff took rapid antigen detection tests out of precaution, and all of them tested negative. As there is the incubation period to consider, we will continue to test them out of precaution with self-testing kits and PCR tests and actively monitor their health.

Seola and Yeonjung have canceled their planned schedule and will be following the directions of the disease control authorities and focusing on treatment and recovery.

WJSN’s Exy has tested positive for COVID-19 a week after Eunseo was diagnosed.

On March 2, WJSN’s agency Starship Entertainment announced through the group’s fan café that Exy had been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.

This is to inform you that WJSN member Exy tested positive for COVID-19 today (March 2).

On March 1, Exy tested positive on a self-test kit she took preemptively and immediately went to the hospital to undergo a PCR test. On March 2, she was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Exy has completed all three rounds of her COVID-19 vaccine and does not currently have any symptoms besides a cough and a mild sore throat. In accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities, she is being treated at home.

Aside from Exy, all the WJSN members and our staff members preemptively took rapid antigen detection tests, and we’ve confirmed that they all tested negative. In the future as well, in consideration of the incubation period, we plan to preemptively use self-test kits and PCR tests and do everything we can to continuously monitor their health and safety.

Exy will halt all of her scheduled activities, and she plans to focus on treatment and recovery in compliance with the guidelines of government health authorities.

WJSN’s Eunseo has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On February 21, WJSN’s agency, Starship Entertainment, released the following statement.

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment.

This is to announce that WJSN member Eunseo has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On February 20, Eunseo tested herself for COVID-19 with a self-testing kit for a work event and the result came back positive. She immediately went to the hospital to get a PCR test, and on the evening of February 21, she was confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.

Eunseo has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and is experiencing no symptoms apart from a slightly sore throat. She is currently receiving treatment at home as advised by the disease control authorities.

All the other WJSN members and their staff took rapid antigen detection tests out of precaution and all of them tested negative.

Eunseo has put a halt to her work schedule and will be focusing on treatment and recovery as she follows the directions of the disease control authorities.

We apologize for causing concern to fans and other relevant people, and the agency will do its best for our artists health and safety.
