The premiere of the “The Sixth Sense 3” has been postponed due to COVID-19.

Previously, “The Sixth Sense” confirmed that the six members from the second season will also be starring in the third season.

The variety show was set to premiere on March 11, but it will be postponed for a week because the program’s producing director (PD) and Lee Sang Yeob tested positive for COVID-19.

On February 23, tvN released the following statement:

Due to the aftermath of a COVID-19 case on the set, tvN’s “The Sixth Sense 3,” which was originally set to premiere on March 11 (Friday), will be delayed by a week and air on March 18 (Friday) at 8:40 p.m. KST.

We ask for the understanding of the viewers who are waiting for “The Sixth Sense 3” as we have come to an inevitable decision to secure a stable production environment.

We will continue to do our best in safety management by following the guidelines of the disease control authorities.

On the same day, Lee Sang Yeob’s agency Ungbin ENS shared that the actor was diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 22. According to Ungbin ENS, Lee Sang yeob used a self-test kit due to symptoms of a sore throat and chills, but he received negative results. Then he underwent PCR testing on February 21 and was officially diagnosed with COVID-19.

Lee Sang Yeob already received the booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he has currently halted his scheduled activities. Following the instructions of the disease control authorities, he is in self-quarantine and taking necessary measures.

Previously, on February 22, both tvN and Jun So Min‘s agency King Kong by Starship confirmed that Jun So Min will be unable to participate “The Sixth Sense 3” due to her injury.
